Dollard Hockey Association APB Hockey Tournament
It is our pleasure to invite you to the 8th edition of the Dollard-Des-Ormeaux APB Interregional hockey tournament for the 2011-2012 season.
1. The tournament caters to boys teams playing at the following levels: Atom (A, B & C), Peewee (A & B), Bantam (A & B).
2. The tournament runs from November 25 to December 4, 2011.
3. The cost of the tournament is $434.00 + $201.00 spectators’ fee per team.
4. No additional admission fees will be charged to attend games during the tournament.
5. A maximum of 8 teams will be accepted in each category; a minimum of 6 teams per category are required. We reserve the right to cancel a category that does not meet the required minimum.
6. The tournament is run under Q.I.H.F. rules.
7. The tournament is run using the “false double-elimination” format. Each team is guaranteed 2 games.
8. Only players officially registered to a team according to the Q.I.H.F. rules are eligible to play.
9. Any team using an ineligible player will be disqualified from the tournament.
10. Team officials must report to the tournament registrar a minimum of 1 hour prior to their first game with the following documents:
a. T112
b. Tournament permit
c. Score sheets from the last 5 games played.
d. League schedule
11. As per Hockey Quebec rule all teams are required to play their scheduled tournament games. Failing to abide by this rule will result in a $435.00 penalty payable by the defaulting team.
12. The tournament organizers are not responsible for any accident or equipment loss that could occur during the tournament. This includes the applicable fees for ambulance transportation or any inherent injuries.
13. ACCEPTED TEAMS WILL BE NOTIFIED BY OCTOBER 12, 2011.
